Russian Bear ยท Highland Single Estate Vodka

The coldest pursuit.

A brand built by Growthhive
Begin
A vodka. Distilled in Scotland.
Priced at $95,000. We built it from nothing.
No heritage. No distillery to photograph. No founder's tale already written.

01 โ€” The Obsession

The coldest pursuit.

A process that makes no rational sense. Twenty-seven distillations. A bed of raw gemstones. Eighty bottles to a batch. None of it is reasonable. That is precisely the point.

Stage 01 โ€” The Source

Glacial water.
One source.

Drawn from a single glacial aquifer in the Scottish Highlands, filtered through quartz across three thousand years before it ever reaches the still. One source feeds one distillery. There is no second well.

SINGLE GLACIAL SOURCE
QUARTZ-FILTERED ยท 3,000 YEARS
Stage 02 โ€” Distillation

Twenty-seven passes through copper.

Not column stills. Copper pot stills โ€” the whisky way โ€” run twenty-seven times across fourteen days. Each pass strips impurity while preserving the imperceptible mineral character that lesser distillation destroys.

27 COPPER-POT PASSES
14 DAYS PER BATCH
Stage 03 โ€” Filtration

A final pass through stone.

The spirit makes one last slow-flow journey โ€” through a bed of raw Scottish gemstones. Not crystals glued to a bottle for show. Stones doing real work inside the spirit, the way Scotland's geology intended.

02 โ€” The Filtration Bed

Three stones. Raw.

Pulled from Scottish ground, used uncut. The same minerals that give the Highlands their character, lending the spirit its own.

03 โ€” The Vessel

The bottle is the reason they keep it.

Every bottle is individually hand-blown in the Scottish Borders. No moulds. No two alike. Leaded crystal with a faint blue-smoke tint, cold and dense to the hand. The vodka is the reason they open it.

Three forms considered.

The Obelisk, the Amber Reserve, the Sapphire Cask โ€” each a different argument for the same cold idea. Each one capable of carrying the brand.

Russian Bear heraldic mark
04 โ€” The Identity

A heraldic bear, drawn the way a master engraver would.

Standing rampant โ€” strength held still, never aggression. Rendered in fine-line engraving and cairngorm gold, the national stone made visible.

It is debossed into the glass, etched into the granite stopper, watermarked into the certificate of provenance. It never shouts. It does not need to.

05 โ€” The Launch

Twelve bottles.
Twelve people.
No advertising.

Russian Bear does not launch with a media buy. It launches by placement โ€” twelve bottles delivered to twelve people chosen because they will never sell, never post for clout, and never need to be asked twice. The brand enters culture through absence. Scarcity is the message; introduction is the only channel.

Placement, not presence.
06 โ€” The Result

We built a brand whose entire value is its restraint โ€” and then proved restraint by building a launch that asks for nothing. The brand that needs you least is the one you want most.

07 โ€” The Deck

The brand build,
in full.

The insight, the obsession, the vessel, and the placement strategy โ€” the complete story of building Russian Bear from nothing.
